Yes. At Driving School BAAS Amsterdam, you can take both manual and automatic driving lessons. We can also advise you on which option suits you best.
In a manual car, you operate the clutch and change gears yourself. In an automatic car, the gears change automatically, allowing you to focus more on the traffic around you.
Yes. If you find during your driving course that automatic driving suits you better, we can switch you to automatic driving lessons.
Regular driving lessons usually work best. You can take lessons once or several times a week. Together with your driving instructor, you can decide which pace suits you best.
Yes. Taking lessons more frequently can help you build experience and routine faster because there is less time between lessons. The most important thing is that the pace suits you and your progress.
Yes. Driving School BAAS has several driving instructors who provide driving lessons in English. We also have English-speaking instructors for automatic driving lessons.
Yes. If you have already taken driving lessons or have other driving experience, we will assess your current level and continue from where you are.
You are ready when you can drive independently, safely and consistently at test level. Your driving instructor will monitor your progress and discuss with you when you are ready for the CBR practical driving test.
Yes. Once you are ready for the practical driving test and the required CBR arrangements have been completed, Driving School BAAS will book the practical test for you.
Yes. You authorise Driving School BAAS through Mijn CBR using driving school number 3270U8. We can then book your practical driving test.
Yes. Make sure your health declaration is completed through Mijn CBR in good time and has been processed by the CBR.
Yes. An interim driving test can be part of your driving course. Together with your driving instructor, we will look at whether an interim driving test would be useful for you.
Yes. If you experience a lot of stress or test anxiety while driving, we can discuss whether a special CBR driving test for candidates with test anxiety would be suitable for you.
We will review which parts of the practical driving test need extra attention and then prepare you specifically for your next test.
At Driving School BAAS, you take at least 3 additional driving lessons before a new practical test. Your driving instructor will determine how many lessons are advisable in your situation.
Yes. A refresher driving lesson is suitable if you have not driven for a while, have become less confident or want to practise specific traffic situations again.
